Full Windsor is a small, design-led company creating useful, durable utensils and tools for outdoor enthusiasts. In 2011, I left my job as a designer at a well-known industrial design firm in London to found Full Windsor and launch our first product on Kickstarter. I wanted to create a brand where design, sustainability and innovation are at the heart of everything we do.

Growing up in New Zealand, my love for outdoor activities was strong. Combining this with my passion for tinkering and making things, designing outdoor equipment was always in my future. After a brief stint in Berlin, we crossed the Atlantic to sunny California in Eagle Rock in 2017, where we are now based. Today, we're a small team of designers and individuals with a shared entrepreneurial spirit.

We financed our existence through our own means and through crowdfunding, and to this day we are still 100% owned and operated by the founder. Our goal is simple: to design and manufacture the finest utensils and tools. We want you to feel pleasure every time you use our products, so that they become part of your everyday life.

We pride ourselves on creating the highest quality products and running a business that puts the well-being of our employees, partners and the planet before our own profits and growth. Creating items that will be cherished for a long time requires a lot of thought, top-quality materials and functionality so well thought out that it's simply a pleasure to use. Our design process is slow and meticulous, because we believe that good things take time.

We keep iterating and developing until we reach the point where we're happy and proud to claim it as our own. These are the considerations we apply every time we design a new product at Full Windsor. We also back up our words with deeds, as all Full Windsor products come with a lifetime warranty.

A commitment to quality and durability

All our products are made from the most durable, robust and high-quality materials we can find. The key to sustainability is efficiency. A design must use less material and energy to achieve the most useful result. "Do more with less" is a mantra we follow. People are realizing that cheap, single-use plastic products are harmful. The reality of disposable culture is that there is no place called "away". Single-use plastics (did we mention they're harmful) pose a huge environmental problem, polluting our oceans and killing the marine life that ingests them.

Doing more with less. If we don't think we're adding value to our customers' lives through innovation and beautiful design, we simply won't bring a product to market. Our supply chain is small and we keep a close eye on it. We have an excellent long-term relationship with our manufacturer in China and visit them regularly. They are audited and certified for safe working conditions and environmental standards by independent external auditors.
