This Frontier splitboard from Jones is the splitboard model for playful riders looking for a directional shape without a rigid flex. This model's characteristics ensure good flotation in fresh snow, as well as a freestyle tail that will have you jumping in all directions.

  • Flex: 6/10
  • Weight: 3.2kg
  • Fast, efficient skin attachment system
  • Progressive sidecut: The radius at the ends of the sidecut increases progressively as the edge reaches the contact point, making it possible to initiate and exit turns more smoothly. In effect, the edge enters and exits the snow with a less abrupt transition.
  • Traction Tech 2.0: Like a serrated knife slicing through the snow, Traction Tech improves edge grip by adding multiple contact points along the entire length of your board.
  • Inner Edge Traction Tech: The Inner Edge Traction Tech improves splitboard edge grip when climbing. Three lateral "bumps" on each side of your binding give you a good grip on icy slopes, no matter which way you cross.
  • V CORE: Wooden core for a stable, playful board feel, making it easier to enter turns.
  • Directional rocker: the nose rocker provides excellent flotation and maneuverability. The camber underfoot ensures good edge hold and responsiveness. The slight rocker in the tail maintains power and stability, but also helps you initiate turns and land in switch.
  • Biax fiberglass: Multi-axis stitched fiberglass laminate for precise, responsive handling in all terrain and snow conditions.
  • Forever Flex: All Jones boards are lapped using specialized machines that mimic extreme use to help stabilize a board's flex and rocker profile for its entire lifespan.
  • Base Flip Flop: improves board durability by reducing p-tex waste.
