DVA REVISION Mammut - BARRYVOX - BARRYVOX S - ELEMENT - PULSE

Review of DVAdevices Mammut BARRYVOX, BARRYVOX S, Element, Pulse

Overhaul of DVA equipment Mammut

Alpinstore.com offers comprehensive inspection, overhaul and update services for ELEMENT, PULSE, BARRYVOX and BARRYVOX S avalanche transceivers from the Swiss brand Mammut.

In accordance with Mammut recommendations, we recommend that you have your device serviced every 3 years, or after 3000 hours of use.

The "Maintenance" menu displays the date of the next service and the software version. The overhaul includes a thorough check of the electronic and mechanical components, including the casing, switches, buttons, battery contacts, battery compartment and hand strap.

Firmware updates can be performed in a number of ways. For Barryvox and Barryvox S, it's possible to perform a device-to-device update, where the device with the latest software version can update those with an earlier version.

As a revision service center Mammut, offers the possibility of carrying out these updates directly at our premises in Sillingy (74).

Warranties vary by model. The Element and Pulse come with a 5-year warranty, while the Barryvox and Barryvox S have a basic 2-year warranty, with the option of adding a further 3 years by registering the device on the official Mammut website.

Review procedure :

Simply print out your invoice, which you received by e-mail at the time of payment, or record your full name and order number on a sheet of paper. Then, carefully place your Mammut DVA device eligible for revision in a well-protected parcel and send it to us via tracking, preferable to avoid any loss during transport by carriers.

The destination address is

  • ALPINSTORE
  • After Sales Service
  • ZAC des Bromines
  • 180, route des prés rollier
  • 74330 SILLINGY

On receipt of your package, our team will update your eligible Mammut device in our workshops, using the latest version of the software. A thorough review will then be carried out according to a precise protocol, using a specific and official tester from Mammut. We will generate two test reports, one dealing with the update and the other with the revision. These reports will be included in the return package accompanying your overhauled device.

Please allow between 7 and 10 working days for delivery.

Please note that in the event of a serious fault detected during one of these checks, we will send your Barryvox device to Mammut in Germany for the necessary repairs.
