The 40 km solo route

This course takes place in altitude with 4 passes of more than 2500 m of altitude to cross. A trail in autumn colors far from civilization that closes the season of trails "mountain". The last event before the snow inexorably covers the area until June of the following year! This trail, in the heart of the mountain offers you a complete change of scenery!

Departure at 8:00 am from the hospice of the Petit Saint-Bernard, a place steeped in history at 2150 m altitude. The first part up to the Col de Chavannes (2603m) is rather rolling and presents no difficulty. For connoisseurs, it takes a small part of the TDS route in the opposite direction, which has the advantage of facing the Mont-Blanc massif. From the pass, the view is magnificent. The 2nd part is more technical with, after crossing the Seigne pass (2516m) towards the Mottets hut, the ascent by a path not much used from the ouillon pass (2612m) which dominates the town of glaciers. From the pass follows a long descent, gently sloping down into the preserved Versoyen valley, before climbing back up to the Col de la Forclaz (2525m). From there, 400mD- to reach the finish line at the hospice of the little Saint Bernard.

The course in duet, the relay is cut into 2 courses :

The relay 1 from the hospice of the col du petit st Bernard at 8:00 am. The course represents 25km / 1050mD+ and 1300mD-.
Relay 2 a more technical start at the refuge des Mottets. The route is about 16km / 1300mD+ and 1000mD-.

For the more "expert", the 60 km solo course

TPSB offers you the opportunity to discover the famous "colle di bassa serra", which culminates at an altitude of 2738m, a real wall in the heart of a glacial paradise, which dominates the Col des Chavannes in the distance and offers a breathtaking view of the nearby Mont-Blanc massif. Situated in an extremely little frequented area, it is a real gem. You will also discover the ridge of the Mont-Fortin which offers grandiose panoramas without forgetting the 2 passes of the 40 km namely the pass of Ouillon and Forclaz.
