NEW SKI TOURING BINDING XENIC FRITSCHI
DIN FROM 3

Optimum safety even for ambitious lightweights. With a DIN adjustment range of 3 to 7, the Xenic 7 offers optimum safety even for very light tourers. Ensuring a reliable release even with low setting values is not a matter of course for pin bindings, but it is extremely important for light and very light people.

INCREASED STRENGTH THROUGH CARBON FIBER

The stop frame is made of high-tech carbon fiber reinforced plastics. For a Xenic that is now even stronger and more durable.

THE RIGHT MATERIAL MIX FOR PERFORMANCE AND LIGHTNESS

A smooth ascent, followed by a safe descent. To meet these expectations, our mission is clear: to combine maximum performance with lightness. The choice of materials is decisive here. Whether it's lightweight, glass fiber-reinforced or carbon fiber-reinforced high-tech plastics as used in the automotive and aviation industries, or high-quality light alloys, in the end it's the technical requirements that determine the product's optimum safety and durability, as well as its uncompromising performance.

COMFORT AND SAFETY. EASY PROGRESS.

Radically different. Secure hold on the downhill slope without blocking, with progressive force transfer and reliable release.
Lightweight, easy to put on and easy to handle make the Xenic 10 the perfect companion for ski touring on all terrains. The innovative stop with horizontally shifting pin levers provides a secure hold in the front. In the back, the extra-wide heel support ensures precise ski control. On the way down, the 10 mm longitudinal flex compensation ensures reliable release at the set value. These features are also ideal for beginners.

The Xenic can now be easily fitted with boots with Grip-Walk soles thanks to the appropriate fitting.

With a DIN adjustment range of 3 to 7, the Xenic 7 offers optimum safety even for very light hikers.

SWISS MADE: 99% of the parts are made in Switzerland and assembled in Reichenbach to form a high quality product.

- Extra wide stop and pedal for easy on/off

FIXATION XENIC FRITSCHI

SECURE HOLD ON THE DOWNHILL SLOPE WITHOUT BLOCKING

The innovative stop pin levers move horizontally and absorb vertical forces. Unintentional release due to impacts from below is avoided without having to lock the system during descent.

DIRECT FORCE TRANSFER - EASY SKI HANDLING

The force is transferred directly to the ski via the Core Tower integrated in the compact heel piece. The large diameter of the Core Tower ensures the widest support system in its class.

RELIABLE RELEASE IN ALL SITUATIONS

The 10 mm elasticity via longitudinal compensation ensures that the pressure on the system remains constant even when the ski is bent strongly. This ensures a safe release at the set values in all situations.

SAFETY FIRST:

Fritschi incorporates state-of-the-art technology in all its bindings to ensure reliable release in all situations:

- Easy to put on with the fixed stop and extra wide pedal: the tip of the shoe finds its optimal position against the fixed stop and thanks to a visual indication. A slight pressure on the shoe pedal is enough to engage pin levers quickly and precisely in the shoe's inserts.
- Sophisticated technology for easy handling: thanks to the lever-operated ascending wedge, the Xenic can be switched from downhill to walking mode without force by simply turning the heel piece 180°. The ski stop is fixed automatically at the first step.
- Timely and complete release in the event of a forward fall: After the heel piece is released, the boot tilts forward. Only Fritschi bindings release the shoe from the stop at an angle of approx. 65° to 75°, depending on the shape of the shoe nose.
- Separate, infinitely variable front and side release: When releasing from the front, the forces involved are considerably higher than when releasing from the side. In order for the binding to function properly, it must have separate mechanisms with correspondingly sized springs that allow for continuous adjustment.
- Lightweight descent: The mm elasticity of the ski via longitudinal compensation, which is unmatched in bindings with inserts, allows the natural flex of the ski to be maintained even under the binding. This allows the ski to unfold all its properties, remain agile in all situations, and offer a secure grip over the entire length of the edge.
