The merino sheep of SUPER.NATURAL
Merino sheep, one of the oldest and hardiest breeds in the world, originated in North Africa and are famous worldwide for their distinctive characteristics.

But what makes them so special?
Merino sheep have a remarkable ability to survive both glacial climates and intense heat conditions. Their natural fleece allows them to withstand temperature fluctuations of up to 40 degrees, a characteristic that also applies to humans. This is where the main advantage of merino wool lies: it offers a feeling of coolness in warm weather and provides comforting warmth when temperatures drop.
High-quality merino wool is obtained from living sheep, and its renewable nature makes it an ecological choice. Its quality is determined by the fineness of its fibers, with finer fibers being softer to the touch and of better quality. super.natural prioritizes merino wool with a fineness of 17 microns, classifying it in the "fine" category. In comparison, conventional wool generally measures between 30 and 50 microns.
