Jet skis soon allowed on the sea of ice

The mayor of Chamonix Mont Blanc has had the authorisation to jet ski on the sea of ice validated by the town council.

Global warming forces it will be possible to make adrenalin-filled outings from June 1st to September 14th.

The port of Montenvers will welcome 2 companies to allow tourists to enjoy the practice in an exceptional setting. Private individuals will not be able to come with their own equipment... the Montenvers train is not yet equipped.

In order to be able to diversify its practices, the commune of Chamonix will also authorise calamari fishing only with the technique known as "angling".
