Presentation of the new Fritschi Diamir Xenic 10

At Diamir FritschiThe development is based and focused on the hiker and his individual requirements. This is the only way to obtain hiking bindings that incorporate state-of-the-art technology for a mountain experience of the highest level.

Safety, functionality and 99% Swiss made are the constants of every innovation from Fritschi. With its legendary Diamir Titanal, Fritschi has integrated the safety, handling comfort and force transfer of an alpine ski binding into a lightweight touring binding. Then his pioneering spirit and daring gave birth to the Vipec 12 and the Tecton 12. With the Tecton's front side release and alpine ski heel piece, Fritschi endows the originally walk-focused insert bindings with the safety and features of alpine ski bindings to maximize their downhill performance.

It's coming: the Xenic 10, a genuine Fritschi weighing only 280g.

For the 2019/20 winter season, the Fritschi family of bindings is being expanded with the arrival of an innovative variation in terms of comfort, safety and performance, weighing only 280 g.

The new benchmark for lightness in touring

In the light weight category, the Xenic 10 is quite a program: it owes its lightness and rigidity to the high-tech materials used. Thanks to its advanced technologies embedded in a futuristic compact design, it offers maximum comfort and safety, but also more performance in downhill, and remains a true touring binding weighing only 280 g. The Xenic 10 is a Fritschi from A to Z, not only in terms of looks, but also in terms of technology. In its weight class, it offers an unrivalled package of features.

No lock required

The pin levers of the innovative stop move horizontally and absorb vertical forces. Unintentional triggering due to impacts from below is therefore prevented, without having to lock the system during descent..

Thought through to the last detail

Thanks to the lever-operated lifting wedge, the Xenic 10 can be switched from downhill mode to on mode without force by simply turning the heel block 180°. The ski stop is automatically set at the first step.
