Monnet is a specialist manufacturer of socks for sports and outdoor use, made 100% in France.
Created in Montceau les Mines in Burgundy in the 1930s, Monnet became a manufacturer by relying on the know-how of the region's inhabitants. A mining area, Montceau les Mines is one of the historic cradles of French textiles. Wives knitted while the men worked in the mine.
In the following years, M. Monnet, observing the emergence of the first winter sports resorts and the development of skiing, oriented his production towards textile articles for sport and especially ski socks.
These decades of experience in contact with top-level sportsmen and women gives Monnet unequalled know-how in the design of technical socks for sport. Today, the integrated Research and Development department enables them to develop new models by associating top-level sportsmen and women, sports chiropodists and textile engineers.
Over the years Monnet has extended its collection to many other sports and outdoor activities. Some models have become mythical, such as the "Monnet des 7 Lieues", popular with hikers for more than 30 years.
All Monnet socks without exception are produced in our production unit in Montceau-les-Mines, Burgundy and today, Monnet can boast the privilege of offering its customers a 100% French production.
Power your feets: Designed for competition, the Monnet range offers dynamic, reactive and ergonomic solutions that bring efficiency and comfort to the most extreme efforts. From training to the most demanding sessions, Monnet socks maximise every second of effort.
A perfect alliance of technology and design, the Monnet brand is a historical know-how and a 100% French production guided by a constant search for improving the performance and aesthetics of the products.
Monnet products are designed by a team of technicians, sports ergonomists and designers. The constraints of use specific to each sport are taken into account by combining the search for performance and comfort.
