In 1968, Lino Dainese decided to dedicate himself to the design and production of motorcycle protectors. It was only 4 years later that the first product was launched: motocross pants. But to continue evolving, the company decided to work closely with riders, in particular through technical sponsorship. The first back protector came out in 1979! Subsequently, the Dainese brand innovated with products such as knee protectors, foot protectors and improvements to motorcycle racing suits. As the years went by, the brand decided to expand into other sports, such as mountain biking, downhill skiing, horse riding and astronomy.
