Not only is the quality of organic cotton equal to or even better than conventional cotton, but organic farming methods preserve biodiversity and ecosystems, improve soil quality and generally use less water. Organic farming does require more time, know-how and skills and, for the time being, is more expensive. But it is worth it.

Today, Patagonia recycles soda bottles, factory fabric scraps and used clothing (including our own) to make our polyester garments. Now, recycled polyester is used in the brand's clothing.
