The Alp Trainer 2 is an evolutionary mid-high hiking boot with a high-quality, durable suede upper and stretch material, as well as a waterproof and breathable GORE-TEX® Extended Comfort lining for effective protection when hiking in a variety of terrain and weather conditions. It has a generous rubber rock guard on the front for protection against rocks and scree.

Adjustable comfort

Designed for comfort from the first steps, it offers a precise, wrap-around fit and good support. Our patented 3F System, with a steel cable, ensures firm ankle support and lateral stability, while the Flex Collar increases rear range of motion and ankle comfort on descents. Plus, the customizable Salewa® Multi Fit Footbed Plus (MFF+) insole features interchangeable overlays that let you further refine the volume. Mountaineering laces allow you to fine-tune toe-in for precision on technical terrain.

Underfoot, the improved Vibram® Alpine Hiking outsole, developed exclusively by Salewa®, offers better performance and control on a wide range of mountainous terrain and performs well in wet and muddy conditions thanks to its dedicated climbing, traction and braking zones and sturdy crampons.
