The Alp Trainer 2 is an evolving mid-cut hiking shoe, featuring high-quality durable suede and stretch material, as well as a waterproof and breathable GORE-TEX® Extended Comfort lining providing effective protection in varied terrains and diverse weather conditions. It benefits from a generous rubber toe cap for better protection against rocks and in scree.

Adjustable comfort

Designed to offer comfort from the first steps, it provides a precise and snug fit with good support. Our patented 3F System, with a steel cable, ensures firm ankle support and good lateral stability, while the Flex Collar increases rear movement range and ankle comfort on descents. Additionally, the Salewa® Multi Fit Footbed Plus (MFF+) is customizable with interchangeable overlays that allow you to fine-tune the volume. Climbing laces enable precise adjustment down to the toes for more accuracy on technical terrains.

Underfoot, the improved Vibram® Alpine Hiking outsole, developed exclusively by Salewa®, offers better performance and greater control across a wide range of mountainous terrains and provides excellent performance even in wet conditions and on mud thanks to its dedicated climbing, traction, and braking zones and its solid lugs.
