Effective protection

The Alp Trainer 2 is an evolutionary mid-high hiking boot with a high-quality, durable suede upper and stretch material, as well as a waterproof and breathable GORE-TEX® Extended Comfort lining for effective protection when hiking in a variety of terrain and weather conditions. It has a generous rubber rock guard on the front for protection against rocks and scree.

Adjustable comfort

Designed to provide comfort from the first steps, it offers a precise wrap-around fit and support. Our patented 3F System, with a steel cable, ensures firm ankle support and lateral stability, while the Flex Collar increases rearward range of motion and ankle comfort on descents. In addition, the customizable SALEWA® Multi Fit Footbed Plus (MFF+) insole features interchangeable overlays that allow you to further refine the volume. Mountaineering laces allow you to adjust the fit right down to the toe for precision on technical terrain.

Underfoot, the improved Vibram® Alpine Hiking outsole, developed exclusively by SALEWA®, offers better performance and control on a wide range of mountainous terrain, and it performs well even in wet weather and mud thanks to its dedicated climbing, traction and braking zones and solid crampons.
