Effective protection

Alp Trainer 2 is a progressive mid-high touring shoe with a durable, high-quality suede upper and stretch material, as well as a waterproof and breathable GORE-TEX® Extended Comfort lining for effective protection when hiking on a variety of terrains and in a variety of weather conditions. It features a generous rubber rock guard at the front for added protection against rocks and debris.

Adjustable Comfort

Designed to provide comfort from the very first steps, it offers a precise wraparound fit and good support. Our patented 3F System, with a steel cable, provides firm ankle support and good lateral stability, while the Flex Collar increases rearward range of motion and ankle comfort on descents. In addition, the customizable SALEWA® Multi Fit Footbed Plus (MFF+) insole features interchangeable overlays that allow you to further refine the volume. Alpine laces allow you to adjust toe-to-toe for precision on technical terrain.

Underfoot, the improved Vibram® Alpine Hiking outsole, developed exclusively by SALEWA®, offers better performance and control on a wide range of mountainous terrain and offers excellent performance even in wet weather and mud thanks to its climbing, traction and braking zones and solid crampons.
