The Rupal Proof 28 alpine backpack from Vaude is the waterproof version of the famous Rupal, specially designed to cope with the most extreme conditions in the mountains. Manufactured at Vaude in Tettnang, Germany, this backpack is made primarily from recycled polyamide, offering maximum resistance while preserving natural resources.

Featuring a stable back system and the adjustable Synergy Mold aluminum frame, the Rupal Proof 28 keeps the load close to the back, ideal for ambitious high-altitude routes, ski outings or technical climbs. Ergoshape FoM ergonomic shoulder straps offer maximum freedom of movement, even in the most extreme situations.

Practical and functional, the Rupal Proof 28 is equipped with numerous features specifically designed for mountaineering: a height-adjustable hood for attaching a rope, ice axe attachments, a flap pocket with waterproof zip, side compression belts and a chest strap with integrated whistle. What's more, the stabilizers can be removed for comfortable use with or without a harness.
