WEEKEND ADVENTURE

Nath went with his buddy, Simon, to climb the big route at the Brevent in Chamonix, these two mountain enthusiasts share their session in pictures.

WHO ARE YOU?

	Nath, after sales service manager and Skiman at Alpinstore Expert in mountaineering, climbing and ski touring products "Sport is a big part of my life. I practice climbing, mountaineering, paragliding, trail and ski touring. A full day without enjoying the nature around me? Don't even get me started, it's inconceivable."

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE?

It takes 3 hours including the approach walk. The duration of the route is 2h30.

During these 3 hours, the two climbers enjoyed climbing the Frison Roche route at Le Brévent. This 6 pitches route with a maximum difficulty of 6A is exposed South-South East, perfect for an easy and fun climbing session.

OBJECTIVE OF THE CLIMBING SESSION ?

No precise objective for this climbing session, the goal was to climb and have fun with friends, enjoy the view, the nature without looking for difficulty.

A LITTLE ANECDOTE ?

What's funny when you're a beginner on easy routes is to find yourself behind ropes of beginners, so you have a lot more time to talk.
At the top, there were a lot of chamois. The nature is magnificent.

WHAT EQUIPMENT DID YOU USE ?

Nathanaël had climbing shoes Katana Velcro from La Sportiva and Simon had climbing shoes Vapor V from Scarpa. They used 2 double ropes of 50, 12 quickdraws, karabiners, reverso... everything that is necessary to make a belay.

WHAT ARE YOUR FAVORITE BRANDS FOR CLIMBING?

For us, the reference brands for climbing are Scarpa and La Sportiva for climbing shoes, Mammut and Petzl for belay equipment.

What I like most about this kind of session is to take in the fresh mountain air with friends, to take the time to talk, to enjoy the beauty of the landscape and the nature that surrounds us. The mountain has this magical side that allows you to discover yourself a little more.
