- What’s new?
A new buckle system, the WAVE closure. It guarantees a precise wrap of the foot at four points between the ankle and forefoot that equalizes pressure on the foot. 3 adjustment points are available for this system: the 3-tooth ratchet on the lever (1), the micro-regulator on the toe (2), and a second position for the lever on the strap (3) to allow for more effective tightening.
The boot is therefore more comfortable, more precise, offers a better fit for more skiability and precision. This new design also makes it more suitable for wider skis. And for those looking for performance or good deals, don’t hesitate to discover our affordable backcountry skis selected for all budgets. | |
| Additionally, it features a new ski/walk system: made of aluminum with Friction Free technology for maximum freedom of movement while walking. The locking on the shell is simple and effective, the steel harpoon and design minimize the possibility of snow or ice accumulation, ensuring easy closure even in extreme conditions. |
New Vibram Cayman Pro sole with traction lug technology. |
|
| New aluminum buckles: The aluminum buckles ensure lightness and durability. The design allows for effective use even with gloves. The micrometric adjustment and steel rings ensure better distribution of closure pressure and reduced weight. |
Made from Pebax Rnew®, the shell is unique thanks to Carbon Core technology. This over-injected carbon insert guarantees immediate transmission of impulses to the ski, ensuring precision and control even in the most difficult skiing conditions. |

- Eco-responsible materials
DID YOU KNOW?
![]() | Scarpa was a pioneer in 2007 when the company chose advanced bio-sourced Pebax® Rnew® polymers for its shoes, thus maintaining a high level of performance and taking a step towards more sustainable material sourcing. Today the company continues its path towards more sustainable and environmentally friendly production: a commitment that the brand has always pursued, even at a time when media and public awareness was less significant than it is today. In numbers: 29% less energy from non-renewable sources than traditional plastics. 32% less CO2 emissions over 100m of Pebax Rnew, (compared to TPU production) |
- RS Model

SCARPA also offers us a new RS model, Maestrale RS and GEA RS, more oriented towards backcountry skiing and for more advanced skiers, for greater overall skiability. With Carbon Core technology in the shell AND cuff (unlike the classic Maestrale) promoting high rigidity in torsion and length, ensuring precision and control. For unmatched pleasure when you want to explore the wildest slopes. Additionally, consider investing in backcountry ski gear to further enhance your practice.
Moreover, the shell is constructed from Grilamid Bio, sourced from renewable sources (cuff still in Pebax Rnew), a stiffer material further improving skiability, and it is free of PVC. There is also a different liner compared to the Maestrale offering more precision. |
