- What's new?
A new buckle system, the WAVE CLOSURE. It guarantees precise envelopment of the foot at four points between the malleolus and the forefoot, equalizing pressure on the foot. 3 adjustment points are available for this system: the 3-tooth rack on the lever (1), the micro-regulator on the toe (2) and a second position for the lever on the strap (3) for more effective tightening.
The boot is therefore more comfortable, more precise and offers a better fit for greater skiability and precision. The new design also makes it more suitable for wider skis. |
|
It also features a new ski/walk system: made from aluminum with Friction Free technology for maximum freedom of movement when walking. Locking onto the shell is simple and effective, and the steel harpoon and design minimize the possibility of snow or ice build-up, ensuring easy closure even in extreme conditions. |
|
New Vibram Cayman Pro sole with traction lug technology. |
|
New aluminum buckles: Aluminum buckles guarantee lightness and strength. The design allows efficient use even when wearing gloves. Micrometric adjustment and steel rings ensure better closure pressure distribution and reduced weight. |
|
Made from Pebax Rnew®, the shell is unique thanks to Carbon Core technology. This over-injected carbon insert guarantees immediate transmission of impulses to the ski, ensuring precision and control even in the most difficult skiing conditions. |
- Eco-responsible materials
DID YOU KNOW?
Scarpa was a pioneer in 2007 when the company chose Pebax® Rnew® advanced biobased polymers for its footwear, thus maintaining a high level of performance and taking a step towards more sustainable sourcing of materials. Today, the company continues on its path towards more sustainable, environmentally-friendly production: a commitment the brand has always pursued, even at a time when media and public awareness was lower than it is today. In figures: 29% less energy from non-renewable sources than traditional plastics. 32% less CO2 emissions per 100m of Pebax Rnew, (compared to TPU production). |
- Model RS
SCARPA also offers a new RS model, Maestrale RS and GEA RS, more oriented towards backcountry skiing and for more advanced skiers, for greater overall skiability. With Carbon Core shell AND collar technology (unlike the classic Maestrale) for high torsional and longitudinal stiffness, guaranteeing precision and control. For unparalleled pleasure when you want to explore the wildest slopes.
What's more, the shell is made of organic Grilamid from renewable sources (the collar is still made of Pebax Rnew), a stiffer material that further enhances skiability, and is PVC-free. The boot is different from that of the Maestrale, offering greater precision. |
