At the same time, the exercises improve stability and prepare our metabolism for ski touring with interval exercises involving rapid changes in intensity. And because the body needs a boost to recover after a hard day, chef Markus Sämmer has the perfect recipe!

STRENGTHENING AND ENDURANCE EXERCISES FOR SKI TOURERS: BLOCK 4

More strength for more ski touring! After six weeks of training in the NAKED SHEEP program, in Block 4 we use all the strength we have acquired in our legs and improve stability. "Feel the Strength" is the last block of strength exercises which contains new exercises using body weight combined with jumps to generate more power for your climbs. More strength does not only mean better climbing performance but also and above all good injury prevention and protection of our body.

For endurance training, here is the third interval: after the "1 Minute Interval" and the "16 Minute Interval" we are well prepared to attack the most intensive endurance training unit. With the "30 Seconds Interval" we get our metabolism used to rapid changes in intensity. This combination of strength and endurance exercises goes perfectly with the strengthening sessions and offers a balanced training program over the next two weeks, giving the ski tourer more efficiency with every step!
