The different parts of the pole
The stick consists of 4 parts:
Firstly, the handle, favouring maximum comfort when holding the stick. You can find two models : those with a 4 fingers handle or the handles with 3 fingers + the index finger, for the smallest hands.
The strap, is the strap that goes around your wrist, it allows you to keep the stick correctly during your movements and especially not to lose it on the slopes.
The pole tube is made of different materials, carbon or aluminium. Aluminum makes for a sturdy tube, and carbon for lightness, but it will be less resistant. According to your preferences, choose a single or telescopic tube, adjust the height of the tube with your size.
At the very bottom is the tip: This is the part that will stick the pole in the snow, the pole will help you move forward and over flat ground. The tip can also help you when entering turns.
The stick is there to improve your sports practice so that you can perform better.
We advise you to turn the stick over (to put it upside down), put your hand under the puck (as the part under the puck will get stuck in the snow, it is not necessary to count this part).
