In 1959, Josef Fischer passed away. His son, Josef Fischer, also takes over the company. Five years later, the brand gets a new headquarters in Austria and the largest ski factory in the world. Fischer launches a ski called "Alu-Steel" and becomes the world leader in cross-country skiing.
In 1972, Fischer decided to diversify its offer and began designing and marketing alpine skis and ski boots.
In our factories, we apply the "Kaizen method" to ensure continuous improvement of our methods in terms of safety and training of our staff. Since 1924, we have been manufacturing skis and have become one of the leading brands in this market. As a family business, we have maintained our position as a specialist in winter sports equipment with passion and dedication, expanding our offering to include field hockey. Winter sports have a special meaning to us, and we share and understand the passion, dedication and sacrifice inherent in the practice of our most passionate consumers. Skiing is an integral part of our lives, and our mission is to enable our participants and athletes to experience unforgettable moments through our expertise, service and passion for the sport. We want to inspire our athletes to push their limits with innovative, reliable and simple products that offer unique sensations. For us, skiing is not a way of life, it's vital.
