BLACK CROWS

Let's start with Black Crows, the brand known for its incredible all mountain/freeride skis. Black Crows, which is a French ski brand based in Chamonix Mont-Blanc, was created in 2006. The team's idea is to seek sensory pleasure through freedom of movement and believes that ski culture is a window open to the world.

For this winter, the brand is releasing a new ski model called "JUSTIS". This will replace the ski pair Dameon and the Navis, both of which were all mountain skis with more or less wide waists.

THE JUSTIS is, as you may have understood, the new all-terrain ski from Black Crows. Its waist width, which is satisfactory (100mm for a 183cm), ensures you stability and glide comfort more incredible than ever. Through its technical characteristics, this all mountain ski model promises memorable descents, whether on-piste or off-piste. This pair features a significant rocker for good maneuverability as well as a double titanium plate for smooth and efficient handling.

Here is the feedback from Nathanaël, a member of the Alpinstore team who had the opportunity to try it during the ski test in Méribel: "For a wide ski, this pair of Black Crows skis presents an incredible behavior. Very versatile, you will appreciate them whether on-piste or off-piste. Even though they are more effective in powder, I had an excellent feeling on hard snow. I would even say they are impressive!"

VOLKL

Since its beginnings in 1923, Volkl has always maintained a strong passion for skiing and the manufacture of its high-performance products. Based in Germany, the brand creates precise and excellent quality skis for your greatest pleasure. To complete your equipment, also consider alpine ski poles adapted to your practice.

To innovate its ranges and boost its sales, the Volkl brand offers a beautiful novelty for this winter, which consists of four models: 2 unisex and 2 women's. Indeed, the BLAZE series is ideal for all your off-piste outings as it presents the technical characteristics of a real freeride ski.

The BLAZE models open a new era for skiers looking for lively and light products. Easy to handle, these pairs of skis ensure you more impressive days than ever, regardless of the conditions. On-piste or further into the mountain, these Volkl models guarantee unmatched pleasure.

Malaurie, our ski equipment buyer, had the chance to test the Blaze 94 during the ski test in Méribel and here is her feedback: "The Blaze ski pair promises you very pleasant moments as it responds correctly underfoot when you ask it to do something. Stiff but responsive, they will allow you to execute precise and effective turns. Even more demanding than the Yumi from Volkl, they require the skier to have a good level to master them perfectly. However, they will carry you perfectly in fresh snow. Playful, they will add fun to your day!"
