Pedroc, The new speed hiking collection from Salewa for summer 2023

The new Pedroc outfit from Salewa's speed hiking collection consists of lightweight models for men and women, weather-resistant, breathable, and quick-drying, as well as shoes and a backpack. “The Pedroc collection combines the technical aspects of mountain sports products with lighter elements focused on athletic performance, resulting in an ideal clothing concept for speed hiking,” explains the Creative Director, Thomas Moe. High-quality components, such as Polartec® active insulation, YKK zippers, and hybrid nylon/tencel fabric blends, highlight the technical aspect of the collection. And the common creative elements enhance the aesthetic aspect of the collection. The hybrid constructions of the models are based on the concept of body mapping, with perforated fabrics and precise finishes for quick and easy handling in the mountains, demonstrating once again the innovative orientation of this new clothing concept. This jacket has a minimal weight (190 grams), is compact for easy storage in a bag, and offers good protection against the elements as well as great breathability. To achieve this feat, Salewa's development team used high-quality fabrics, such as the 2.5-layer laminated Powertex membrane, PFC-free.
