The Corsa Race is the world's lightest certified ice axe, perfect for ski mountaineering competitions. With its 50 cm length, it meets the requirements of ISMF regulations, ensuring full compliance with competition standards. This ice axe is optimized for maximum lightness while complying with the EN 13089 Type 1 standard.

To achieve such lightness, the Corsa Race uses an aluminum shaft whose thickness has been strategically reduced. What's more, it has noanti-snow insert, which contributes to a further reduction in weight. The cuff is equipped with through-holes, not only to further lighten the pick but also to provide a good grip.

The head of the ice axe has a passage for attaching the Corsa hand strap (available separately), ensuring greater safety during use. However, the Corsa Race is not recommended for vertical ice climbing, difficult mixed terrain, or intense step-cutting, as it is specifically designed for competition environments.
