General Sales Conditions

ARTICLE 1 – PRICE :

1.1      The prices of our products are indicated in EURO including VAT (all French taxes included) excluding shipping costs and customs duties.

1.2      All orders placed on our site are payable in EURO.

1.3      Prices are valid for the current month. Products will be invoiced based on the rates in effect at the time of order registration, subject to availability on that date.

1.4      Retention of title clause: products remain the property of SAS AlpinStore until full payment is received.

 

ARTICLE 2 - PAYMENT METHOD :

2.1 Payment by credit card :

We accept payments by credit card, either directly on the site in a secure payment. SAS AlpinStore has set up a secure online payment platform (Banque Populaire).
Some orders paid by credit card may be subject to additional verification. You will receive an email requesting supporting documents to validate the shipment of your order.

2.2 Payment by bank transfer:

You can also pay for your order by bank transfer (any fees are the responsibility of the customer), by money order or with your Paypal account. to our Banque Populaire account

2.3 Payment by PayPal:

PayPal is an online payment service that allows you to pay for purchases, receive payments, or send and receive money.
You can select a payment in 1 time or 3 times on the Paypal platform.

At the time of payment, select Paypal, you will then be redirected to the PayPal interface.

  • Enter your email and password,
  • Validate the payment, which validates your order,
  • A confirmation email of your order will be sent to you (check your spam).

 

ARTICLE 3 – DELIVERY :

 3.1 : Delivery of products 

The ordered products will be delivered to the delivery address indicated by the customer at the time of the order according to the chosen mode of transport.

Packages will be delivered as soon as possible according to the time chosen based on the delivery method selected at the time of the order.

The times indicated on the site do not take into account weekends, public holidays. For countries outside the European Union or subject to customs formalities, any delays due to customs formalities.

Delivery rates include: the cost of transport, packaging, and handling. Shipping costs depend on the weight of the package as well as the selected carrier. All shipping costs are displayed in euros including VAT in Europe and Switzerland.

All shipments are made with a tracking number and/or a signature upon receipt.

 3.2 : Bulky and cumbersome packages :

In cases where the merchandise in your order is too bulky or too heavy, and does not allow for delivery with the mode of transport and carrier you have chosen, we will adapt the choice of carrier based on the package and delivery imperatives. The additional cost incurred will be at our expense for deliveries in mainland France.

 3.3 : Right of reservation:

In case of missing or damaged packages affecting the product, it is necessary to issue a reservation upon delivery. We ask you to check that the package is compliant.

It is also reminded that the transfer of risks of loss or damage to the customer occurs upon receipt by the customer of the order.

3.4: Customs duties and local VAT outside the EU:

Any order shipped outside the European Union will be automatically invoiced excluding tax unless specific rules for the UK and Switzerland. Import formalities, customs duties, and any taxes related to the delivery of an item outside the European Union are the responsibility of the Buyer. The Buyer is solely responsible for verifying the import possibilities of the ordered products in accordance with the law of the delivery country. AlpinStore is not obliged to verify and inform the Buyer of applicable customs duties and taxes, particularly local VAT. 

In case of refusal of the package for non-payment of customs duties and local VAT, Alpinstore will only refund the products returned by the carrier after deducting the customs fees charged to Alpinstore for the return of goods after customs clearance. Alpinstore can, upon simple request, send the invoice for the return of goods justifying the fees charged.


* Export to the UK:
 Since 1/1/2021, VAT applies as follows to your orders:
                   - Amount < £135: Local VAT paid directly at the order on our site, only Administrative fees (£5 DPD & £11 DHL) may be requested.
                   - Amount > £135: Local VAT must be paid at the time of delivery to the local carrier + Administrative fees (£5 DPD & £20 UPS)

  • * Export to the USA : Since August 29, 2025, the exemption from duties and taxes for shipments under $800 is suspended. Customs fees of 15% are therefore systematically applied from this date to which $20 of customs clearance fees must be added.
  •  
  • In case of refusal to pay customs duties and taxes following the validation of the sales conditions, the package will be returned at your expense with taxes upon refund of the order.

* Export to SWITZERLAND: Since 2024, products offered by Alpinstore are exempt from customs duties in Switzerland. We have therefore decided to include the local VAT of 8.1% in the prices for Switzerland to simplify the receipt of your goods. The prices displayed for Switzerland are therefore today including VAT.  

No additional fees will therefore be charged at the time of delivery in Switzerland. 

 

ARTICLE 4 - RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL :

You have the right to withdraw from this contract without giving any reason within fourteen days. The withdrawal period expires fourteen days after the day on which you or a third party other than the carrier takes physical possession of the Product. 

 4.1 : Exercising the right of withdrawal :

 4.1.1 : Terms and withdrawal period : To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must notify us of your decision to withdraw from this contract by means of an unambiguous declaration by phone at 09.72.306.150, by email (contact link on our site) or by mail to the following address :

To ensure that the withdrawal period is respected, it is sufficient for you to send your communication regarding the exercise of the right of withdrawal before the expiration of the withdrawal period.

 4.1.2 : Terms and return : 

 

 Following your return request, we will send you a return label for a shipment in France, Germany, Belgium, Spain, and Luxembourg.

You must return or hand over the item complete and in perfect condition, without excessive delay and specifying the order number to the following address:

Please write RETURN on your package to facilitate its processing. 

As part of our program "committed to true natures" aimed at preserving our playground, we wanted to empower our community by requesting responsibility for returns to limit the impact on the environment of unnecessary logistics:

               - FRANCE & GERMANY: Participation of €6 including VAT for orders under €119 and free beyond with the transport voucher provided
               - SPAIN, BELGIUM, LUXEMBOURG: participation €6 including VAT with the transport voucher provided
               - OTHER COUNTRIES: Return at the customer's expense in full 

 4.1.3 : Terms and refund :

In case of withdrawal, AlpinStore will refund you the totality of the returned products without excessive delay and, in any case, no later than seven (7) days from the day on which AlpinStore received the return of your product. Shipping costs possibly paid at the time of your order are not subject to a refund in case of return.

We will proceed with the refund using a voucher valid for 12 months for returns under €150 and via the same payment method as the one you used for the initial transaction for refunds over €150.

AlpinStore reserves the right to defer the refund until it has received the Products or until you have provided proof of shipment of the Products, the date retained being that of the first of these facts.


You will be liable for any depreciation of the products and their original packaging resulting from any handling of these that exceeds what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, proper functioning, and marketing of the returned product. In such a case, AlpinStore will inform you as soon as possible of the possible refusal of your refund and will return the damaged product to you.

 

4.2 : Exception to the right of withdrawal:

The exercise of the right of withdrawal is excluded in the following cases:

  1. contracts for the supply of goods that have been unsealed by the consumer after delivery and that cannot be returned for reasons of hygiene or health protection (protection helmet, strap, rope, climbing equipment…),
  2. products likely to deteriorate or expire quickly
  3. customized products or made specifically for the customer: Drilled and mounted skis, cut skins, cut ropes, thermoformed shoes, ...

 The information provided for the customization of products is communicated under the full responsibility of the customer. Under no circumstances shall the liability of Alpinstore be engaged if this information proves to be erroneous. This is particularly the case if the customer communicates an incorrect shell size expressed in mondo size and not in mm as requested on the site and indicated on the size help chart.

 

 

ARTICLE 5 – LIABILITY :

The products offered comply with current French legislation and applicable standards in France. Of course, for any questions about the products you can contact our customer service. SAS AlpinStore cannot be held responsible for the non-performance of the contract concluded in case of force majeure, flood, fire. Hyperlinks may refer to other sites than the site AlpinStore. SAS AlpinStore disclaims all liability in the event that the content of these sites violates the legal and regulatory provisions in force.

Products classified in Category D according to the law of March 6, 2012 are sold freely only to adults. Consequently, by ordering a knife, dagger, or any bladed weapon classified in category D, the customer certifies that they are of legal age in their country.

 

ARTICLE 6 – PERSONAL DATA :

Your contact details are intended for AlpinStore in order to process and ship your order, as well as to manage the commercial relationship with you and keep you informed of their offers and news. In accordance with the French law "Informatique & Libertés" n° 78-17 of January 6, 1978, you can at any time request to access, modify, rectify or delete the information concerning you, or oppose receiving offers and information from AlpinStore, via the unsubscribe link present in each of our messages or by making a request via the online contact form.

AlpinStore represented by its president, is the data controller of the personal data collected during the order. The customer is also informed that the processing has been declared to the National Commission for Information Technology and Liberties under number: 1789421 of 26/08/2014

You can at any time unsubscribe from the newsletter, access your information with the right to modification and deletion by sending us a request by email to rgpd@alpinstore.com.

In this respect and in accordance with the provisions of the Intellectual Property Code, only use for private purposes is authorized subject to different or even more restrictive provisions of the intellectual property code. Any other use constitutes infringement and is punishable under Intellectual Property law unless prior authorization from SAS AlpinStore. Any total or partial reproduction of the sites published by SAS AlpinStore is strictly prohibited.

 

ARTICLE 9 - DISPUTES

This contract is subject to French law: any dispute resolution on a contract can be made with our customer service – complaints via the contact form.

Under Article L-141-5 of the Consumer Code, if you wish to file a complaint, you have the option to write the reason for your complaint on the website dedicated to online dispute resolution made available by the European Commission. Your complaint will then be directly transmitted to us. ARTICLE 10 - CUSTOMER COMMITMENT :

By validating your order, you validate your purchase and declare that you accept its content as well as the general sales conditions of SAS AlpinStore. These general sales conditions are governed by French law. The customer agrees that ALPINSTORE may subsequently and reasonably modify these general conditions. Of course, only the conditions in effect on the day of the order will apply to all commercial relations between Alpinstore and its customer.

  

ARTICLE 11 - DATA PROTECTION :

The personal data collected on the site and then in the context of monitoring our relationships are used by the company Alpinstore and all employees for the following purposes: 

- to process and ensure the follow-up of Customer orders
- to inform Customers of the latest news and promotional operations
- to communicate special offers (including contests, games, etc.)

Access to the account is protected by a password and in accordance with the data protection law of January 6, 1978, you have the right to access, rectify, and oppose the personal data concerning you.

Payments by Credit Card are fully secured by our provider Banque populaire, a member of the GIE CB and certified PCI DSS, thus meeting the strictest standards for securing banking data.

  

ARTICLE 12 - REFERRAL PROGRAM :

The referral program allows a customer AlpinStore to invite friends via their email address, personal blog, personal site to create an account on the site and to place an order while benefiting from an advantage in the form of a gift voucher.

12.1 : Authorized referral methods :

-          Use on your Blog, personal site or forum,

-          Use on social networks, in the form of promoting the site Alpinstore or its products,

The use of a referral code is limited to 2 maximum per order.

12.2 Prohibited referral methods :

It is strictly forbidden to use a referral code as a promotional or discount code. Promotion code sites or similar are strictly prohibited.

Any prohibited use exposes you to the deletion of your referral credit and the order placed.

ARTICLE 13 - WARRANTIES :

13.1 Legal warranties :

The Products provided by AlpinStore benefit, in accordance with legal provisions :

- of the legal warranty of conformity under the conditions of articles L.217-4 and following of the Consumer Code,

- of the warranty against hidden defects resulting from a defect in material, design, or manufacturing affecting the delivered Products and rendering them unfit for use, under the conditions provided for in articles 1641 and following of the Civil Code.

 13.2 Legal warranty of conformity :

 

  •          Article L217-4 of the Consumer Code : the seller is obliged to deliver a good that conforms to the contract and is liable for any conformity defects existing at the time of delivery.

It is also liable for conformity defects resulting from packaging, assembly instructions, or installation when it has been made at its expense by the contract or has been carried out under its responsibility.

  •          Article L217-5 of the Consumer Code :

The good is conforming to the contract:

1° If it is fit for the usual expected use of a similar good and, if applicable:

- if it corresponds to the description given by the seller and has the qualities that he presented to the buyer in the form of a sample or model;

- if it has the qualities that a buyer can legitimately expect in view of the public statements made by the seller, by the producer, or by its representative, particularly in advertising or labeling;

2° Or if it has the characteristics defined by mutual agreement between the parties or is fit for any special use sought by the buyer, brought to the seller's attention and accepted by him.

 

13.3 Warranty against hidden defects :

  • Article 1641 of the Civil Code : the seller is liable for the warranty due to hidden defects of the sold item that render it unfit for the use for which it is intended, or that diminish this use so much that the buyer would not have acquired it, or would have given only a lower price if he had known them.
  •          Article 1648 al 1 of the Civil Code : the action resulting from hidden defects must be brought by the purchaser within two years from the discovery of the defect.

In the case provided for by article 1642-1, the action must be brought, under penalty of foreclosure, within the year following the date on which the seller can be discharged from hidden defects or apparent conformity defects.

 

13.4 Implementation:

  1. Any request for legal warranty under the warranty of conformity or hidden defects must be made to AlpinStore (Address: 180 Route des Prés Rollier, ZAC de Bromines, 

You have a period of two (2) years to act, from the delivery of the Product.

You can choose between repair and replacement of the Product, provided that this choice does not entail a manifestly disproportionate cost in view of the value of the Product or the importance of the defect. AlpinStore is then obliged to proceed, unless impossible, according to the method chosen by you.

You are exempt from providing proof of the existence of the conformity defect of the Product during the twenty-four (24) months following the delivery of the Product.

The legal warranty of conformity applies independently of any commercial warranty that may be granted.

      2. Warranty against hidden defects

If you decide to implement the warranty against hidden defects under article 1641 of the Civil Code, you can choose between the resolution of the sale or a reduction in the sale price in accordance with article 1644 of the Civil Code.

 

13.5 Contractual warranty :

In addition, you may also benefit, if applicable, from the manufacturer's warranty of the Products that AlpinStore markets.

To invoke the benefit of the possibly applicable contractual warranty, you must notify AlpinStore without delay and in writing, of the defects you attribute to the Products and provide all justifications regarding their reality. You must provide us with the information below using the SAV form in customer service https://www.alpinstore.com/en/contactez-nous :

-          Name, first name, and order number as well as a copy of your invoice ;

-          Photos of the Products with the damages or deterioration clearly visible ;

-          Precise explanations of the defect.

 

Once the complete file is received, we will give you the instructions to follow based on the indications communicated by the manufacturer of the Product in question.

You must give AlpinStore or the manufacturer any facility to proceed with the verification of these defects and to remedy them. If the manufacturer requests the return of the Product, the return costs are at your expense. Any processing fees (return of products to our suppliers + processing fees for the file) may be requested if this must be carried out by AlpinStore. €15 (mainland France) / €30 (European Union / Switzerland and Norway) / €50 (Rest of the world).

The manufacturer carries out a detailed expertise of the Product for any possible coverage under the warranty and ensures that the defect does not result from abnormal use of the Product.

AlpinStore informs you that only the manufacturer makes the decision and that we follow its decision.

 

13.6 Any warranty is excluded in case of use or storage of the Products not in accordance with the provisions on the label attached to the Products.

13.7 AlpinStore will not be considered liable or in default if it proves that the delay or non-performance is due to the occurrence of a case of force majeure or is attributable to you (abnormal or non-compliant use of the Products, use not in accordance with the purpose for which the Product is intended, etc.).
