Protest has the ambitious goal of replacing all PFCs in their collections with environmentally friendly alternatives by 2022.
By ceasing to use PFCs in their clothing, Protest is choosing to help limit the harmful effects of these chemicals on the environment and on human and animal health. After some research, Protest has found an alternative to PFCs capable of offering water resistance and breathability. The new hydrophobic finish is inspired by examples of impermeability found in nature and is based on a fluorine-free formulation.
