This revisited version of the classic MTN Trainer is designed in Montebelluna, a small town at the foot of the Dolomites famous for its mountain boots. This sturdy and versatile low boot, designed for approaching the mountains with a 1.6 millimetre suede upper and Vibram outsole, is intended for prolonged intensive use. The durable leather upper features an integral protective stitch layer for 360° abrasion resistance on rocky terrain and a breathable mesh lining.

The improved last design ensures a comfortable and more flexible fit, while the medium stiff nylon midsole supports the midfoot while providing good flexibility in the front of the shoe for faster movement over steep terrain. The multi-functional Vibram MTN Trainer Evo outsole features deep, self-cleaning grooves and strong lugs that ensure a good grip on rock and scree and optimal traction on mud and grass. A special via ferrata surface under the middle part of the foot, in front of the heel, has special right-angled studs for a better grip on the iron rungs of via ferrata ladders.

The signed 3F system connects the instep area to the sole and heel, ensuring flexibility, precision and support. The climbing laces can be fine-tuned at the toes for greater precision when climbing, while the stretch gaiters under the laces provide better protection from the elements. Not to mention the padded OrthoLite footbed that repels moisture to help keep your feet cool. The MTN Trainer 2 for men is a comfortable shoe that offers the ideal alpine approach solution for technical hikes, vias ferratas and treks.
